Who are we?

Cheeky Beaks aims to bring you stitchery and photography with a Spanish feel. The Sewing side of the business is run by Kim Hickman and the Photography side by her husband, Michael.  

Kim has always had a great interest in all types of stitchery and has decided to turn her main interest of cross-stitch into a business. Kim will also be investigating the addition of quilting products to this site as time permits. 

Michael has a lifetime interest in landscape photography and will be using this both as a source for Kim's charts and as separate business. We are also able to offer Hotel and B&B owners a selection of postcards either of their premises, or of the local area. These could be used either for purchase by their guests or for promotional purposes.

The aim of Cheeky Beaks! Sewing is to provide cross-stitch charts and kits that reflect the Spanish way of life - these influences are drawn from the natural beauty of the country; the Spanish people's "joy of life" and the beauty of its buildings and architecture. In addition we have also included some of our favourite kits ranging from birds to samplers. The majority of our products are designed by us and are exclusive to Cheeky Beaks.

Cheeky Beaks! Sewing would also like to hear from suppliers of Spanish cross-stitch charts, as well as from  artists whose Spanish paintings could be used as the basis for cross-stitch products.
