Fossils and other bits from Nutbourne, West Sussex - PO18

Ever wondered what you're walking on when on the beach? Well, so have we, and despite my having done an Open University Geology course many years ago - I'm still not sure!

I hope that the following pages will be of interest to you and if you have any suggestions as to the identities (or otherwise) of any item please email me.

The following rocks and fossils were found within a few weeks whilst walking around the coast at Nutbourne. Each has been examined by a local geologist (David Bone). Davids' website can be found at http://www.westsussexgeology.co.uk/ Each page contains a maximum of 12 specimens.
